Chapter 3: Halloween & Quidditch
I was really getting used to my life as a witch, this week also began the season of Quidditch is the sport of wizards, was similar to soccer except that instead of a ball, were 4 and did not play on the ground but on broomsticks. Luna told me something about the sport, but seeing it live was a total different experience!
That day ,played Gryffindor against Slytherin, i was supporting Gryffindor of course because i totally dislike Slytherin, especially Draco, who thinks he is the best.
It was a wonderful experience, never thought to witness something like that, something that existed only in my dreams and in cartoons.While watching the game, I managed to see two ginger guys that if I was right, I saw them on the train station, the day I came to Hogwarts and I found them very cute.I asked Luna if she knows them
- They are Fred and George Weasley -- Well, seems that you know everybody -- Something like that, I think I'm just good at remembering names -
Suddenly something happened in the game. Harry was in danger! his broom went like crazy and almost fell to the ground.- But what is happening? , Someone help! he is going to fall! - I Shouted
But luckily he didnt fall and at the end, Gryffindor won the match!
- So you liked the Quidditch? - asked me Luna- oh yes i did!! ,is so fun but also very dangerous, someone could get hurt or killed -- It has not happened any incident, in a long time -- Look there he is, Harry, let's say hello! -
We walked towards Harry, who was celebrating the victory with all the Gryffindor Team.- Harry, congratulations, you did it great!! -- Thanks Katelyn, even I can not believe I caught the Snitch! -- Yes, you were great really, and I'm glad that you have won over Slytherin, I do not like them -- No one likes them - Hermione said, 'sorry, i think we havent been introduce, my name is Hermione, Hermione Granger -- Nice to meet you Hermione, I know you from Potions class we take together -- Yes, you are right, I had forgotten -- You are very clever, always answering the questions -- Oh thank you, but i just like to read a lot

Halloween was here! one of my favorite holidays and although wizards dont dress up like muggles, it was totally fun! and why to disguise? we were wizards and witches all! when we got to the dining room had lots of food and sweets there, everything was delicious!
While eating dessert,a teacher ran into the room, to say that there was a troll in school!?
Everyone started screaming and I of course got very scared, I did not know how a troll looks but it has to be very fearful. Inmediately the prefect of our class headed us to our common rooms, as Dumbledore and the teachers were dealing with the troll.
- Is there no security in this school or what? how a troll can come in like that? - I was telling Luna-One of the teachers must have infiltrated it .. - She said quietly- Sure, it was Snape, I never trusted him, I think he is a traitor - i said
The next day, the news were all over the school, Harry and Ron had a fight with the troll and they wounded him to save Hermione, at lunchtime, I saw them and decided to go to find out exactly what have happened, I could not deal with the curiosity anymore...
- It's true what they say? - I asked- What they say? - Says Harry- That last night you fought the troll to save Hermione? -- Yes it is true ... was very easy in fact - Ron says proudly- Wow, then is really true about Gryffindors being so brave, i wouldnt do such a thing, and how is it?
- What? -- The troll ..how looks like?
- Big, ugly, very ugly - says Ron

My adventure in Hogwarts - Part 1 - Chapter 2
Chapter 2: First day of school
September 1 arrived.
My first day at Hogwarts, has arrived and could not believe it! Last night I could not sleep with the excitement.
I got up very early and my parents took me to the train station. I pulled back my ticket: Hogwarts Express, Platform 9 3/4. I look, and did not see any platform 9 3/4, only saw the 9 and 10, i was wondering, could this be a mistake? what if all was a joke and Hogwarts doesnt really exist?
And now what? my parents were gone.
I was there all alone with my suitcase. When suddenly, I see a guy who was looking in the middle of the two platforms 9 and 10, totally confused so I decided to approach him.
- Hello - I said-
Oh hi - he said looking at me-
You are also going to Hogwarts?
-- Yes. But I can not find the platform 9 3/4, you know?-
No, me neither. Maybe there was a mistake? By the way, my name is Katelyn Dewitt
- I'm Harry, Harry Potter- Nice to meet you, Harry.
In that moment, we see a family of redheads approaching. We saw as one of the boys runs up the wall that divides the platforms 9 and 10 and disappears. Harry and I looked surprised.
Harry approached the lady and asked her how we could pass. She explained to us and we could crossed the platform. It was amazing. And there was ... the train, Hogwarts Express!
I boarded the train and find a cubicle. I sat down and a couple of minutes later , a girl walked in. She had pale skin and blond hair.
- Hey, Can I sit with you? The other cubicles are occupied -she said timidly- Sure. Come, sit down. - I said- It's your first year too? - she asked - Yes. My first year, I had no idea, I was a witch, was a big surprise for me -- So you are born of muggles -- Of what? - I asked confused- Muggles. Its how you call people who are not wizards, your parents are not wizards so they're muggles.- Ohh .. Now i get it
- My name is Luna, Luna Lovegood, and yours? -- Katelyn, Katelyn Dewitt -- Cute name -- Thanks -
Luna and I talked a lot along the way, she was a strange girl but still seemed nice, until we finally arrived at Hogwarts, it was dark when we got there.
We got off the train and there was Hagrid who directed us up. We got into one of the boats and saw a huge castle in the distance!
- Wow, this is our school!? - I asked totally surprised- Yes. Is amazing, isnt? - I said Luna
Once inside the castle, we walked through long corridors until we reached a huge room, was like a dining room with long tables and many chairs, had never seen a room so big.A teacher called McGonagall was giving us instructions. Told us to wait there a moment, the ceremony would begin soon to know which house we would belong.
In the group of new students , i could see Harry, the guy from the train station. He saw me and waved at me and I did the same.
- You know Harry Potter? - Said Luna
- Something like that. I met him at the train station today. Why? you know him?
-- Everyone knows Harry Potter. He is a legend
-- A legend and why is that? -
- Then I will tell you later, is a long history. -
Harry really did not seem at all as legend to me, like Luna said. He looks like an ordinary child.
The ceremony began, and one by one, were calling to each child. They sat in a chair and a hat was place on his head, the hat was magic, it was actually alive and this was the one who decides which house you belong to.
Luna was before me and she was sorted in Ravenclaw. I already had in mine that was the house i want to be in it.
My turn came and it was not long before the hat shout: Ravenclaw!
I went to the table where all the Ravenclaws were , they welcomed me with applause and I sat next to Luna.
After the initiation, there was a feast, with lots of food! it had all, meat, potatoes, desserts, these wizards really eat delicious i thought, i ate until i couldnt breath any more.
After dinner, we went to our bedroom but as it was still early, before bed, I had a good time in the common room , that was the meeting place for students, there we could talk, listen to music or play a game of chess.
Already there, I decided to take the opportunity to ask Luna about that
long history of Harry ...
- But why you say "you know who" ? I do not know who you are talking about - I said, totally confused
- His name is .... - (only could hear a whispering)- Who? -- Voldemort! - She said a little louder and looking around to see if anyone had heard-
And why you can not say his name? -
- People are afraid to say it ... but I really think it's silly, and besides all that happened, a long time ago, he is gone forever.
- Well, thats good to know...
The next day, first day of school!! My first class was Potions , as soon as i get to the class i realized i take that class with students from other houses, and there was Harry, as soon I saw him, I waved and smiled at him and he returned my greeting.
The class started and i really started disliking this teacher called Snape. He was rude and seems to had something against Harry. He keeps mocking him even calling him "celebrity" with sarcasm, whilst the kids from Slytherin laugh.

My adventure in Hogwarts - Part 1 - Chapter 1
Introduction:The story is based on the novels by JK Rowling, but from the point of view of this character, not Harry Potter.Therefore, the story also undergo some changes, things I would have liked to happen that did not happen in books.I want to take every reader directly to Hogwarts, they feel they are really there.The story is told in first person, that is narrated by the character.
Without further ado, I leave you with the first chapter. Remember to leave comments if you do not mind.
CHAPTER 1: I AM A WITCH?
The sound of the alarm wakes me up like every morning. The day was warm but wet in London, typical summer day. But it was not really a typical day, it was July 26th, my 11th birthday! I took a shower, I comb my long dark hair and went up the stairs and there were my parents with my birthday cake singing to me.
- Happy birthday darling - my dad says,
- Thanks - the chocolate cake was just as I liked and in the middle lyrics that read: Congratulations Katelyn, yes, that is my name, Katelyn ... i tried a taste of the cake but my mother stopped me ... - Ah ah ... no cake until after dinner -
I did not understand what was the matter of showing me the cake as soon as I get up if I had to wait until night to try it, but good because it was a tradition in my family.
That afternoon, I went to the park to play with my neighbor, Sophia .. we liked to play soccer, always trying to the goals on the laundry baskets ... a few minutes later my father calls me."Katelyn"
I walked toward him to see what was happening.- What happened, Dad? -, - Here is a letter for you -, - for me? and who is it? -, - Hogwarts School just says -, - a school? let me read it. -
The envelope was yellow and had green letters, I opened and the first line said: "Congratulations Katelyn Dewitt, you have been accepted at Hogwarts school of magic ..."
-School of magic? There is a school of magic? - I asked my dad, to which he answered 'Of course not. It must be a joke of someone. Give it to me, I'll throw it away -
The letter left me wondering all day ... and if magic exists? Could it be possible?
The next day .. was evening, and I was watching cartoons in the living room when suddenly there were a knock at the door.
- Katelyn, open the door! - I heard my mother saying from the kitchen, I get off the sofa, went to the door and when I opened it ... my jaw nearly hits the ground.
There was a giant man standing there, with abundant hair and a beard equally abundant.
- Good afternoon, Katelyn - He said ..
- Ho, How you know my name? - I was scared ! in my life I had never seen anyone as big as this man
- I hope not to scare you, my name is Hagrid. Dumbledore sent me.
I was totally confused, I did not know if I was dreaming or this was really happening.
- Dumbledore? - I asked
- Oh right ... you still do not know anything. Dumbledore is the headmaster of Hogwarts, the school of magic. If I remember correctly, a few days ago you received a letter from there, right?
- Yes, I received the letter. But I thought it was a joke. -- There is much you need to know, Katelyn, but know that ... you're a witch -

I was totally in shock. There was a giant in my house, I'm a witch? was going on???
I went to the kitchen where my parents were.
- Dad, Mom. -
- Yes honey? - Said my father
- There is a person who wants to talk to you in the living room. -
- And who is it? - Asked my mom
-He's a giant named Hagrid, he says he comes from that school of magic which sent the letter the other day -
-What? Katelyn what you're saying? - My father did not believe me, and apparently my mother either.
- Do not believe me? then go to the living room and Check it for yourself -
My parents escorted to the room, and when we arrived and saw Hagrid were totally petrified of printing. Hagrid was sitting on the couch and covered almost the entire room. It was a miracle, he did not break the sofa.
- Mr. and Mrs. Dewitt, good afternoon. My name is Rubeus Hagrid, but you can only call me Hagrid. I come from the magic school Hogwarts.
I expected a response from my parents but instead, they stared at Hagrid totally in shock.
- I think they're in shock - I said, I made a loud applause to wake them.
- Sorry dear, but we can not believe what is happening. He says he comes from a school of magic? my mom says
- That's right. His daughter is a witch. Katelyn is not an ordinary girl, she has some great talents that need to be developed and that only what can be achieved in the school of Hogwarts. -

He took a magic wand and gave it to me.

That same day, Hagrid and I went to a place called Diagon Alley, I had never heard of that place, Hagrid explained to me that only people with magic powers were awarded of it.On the way to the place, I continued to count on all the things a wizard should know, such as Hogwarts, Dumbledore , the teachers, the Minister of Magic etc ...
Already in Diagon Alley, I bought everything I needed for school, books, my wand and more..I was so excited to start school and my life was always so boring and now out of nothing, I happen to be witch!!
